Toronto, Ontario - Inspiration Mining Corporation (the Corporation) is pleased to announce that pursuant to an asset purchase agreement dated November 21, 2008 entered into between the Corporation and Keefe Cooke Corporation (the "Vendor"), the Corporation acquired two (2) patented land claims (the Properties"), HR1181 and HR1182 located adjacent to the existing Langmuir claims on the west side of the Corporation's property. As consideration for the Properties, the Corporation paid the Vendors $75,000 and issued 105,000 common shares. The common shares are subject to a four-month hold period expiring March 25, 2009.

Inspiration Mining Corporation to Launch Normal Course Issuer Bid (27-Oct-2008)

Toronto, Ontario Inspiration Mining Corporation (the "Corporation") announced today that it has received regulatory approval from the Toronto Stock Exchange ("TSX") to launch a normal course issuer bid (the "Bid"), pursuant to the terms set out in the notice of intention to make a normal course issuer bid (the "Notice") filed with the TSX. The Board of Directors of the Corporation believes that the current market price of the Corporation's common shares does not properly reflect the underlying value of the Corporation, and that, accordingly, the purchase of its common shares is appropriate and in the best interests of the Corporation and its stakeholders.

The Corporation has 67,925,270 common shares issued and outstanding as of October 22, 2008. The Notice provides that under the Bid, the Corporation may purchase up to 6,439,314 common shares, being 10% of the public float. The Notice further provides that, subject to the Corporation's ability to make "block" purchases through the facilities of the TSX in accordance with the TSX rules, the aggregate number of common shares that the Corporation may purchase during any trading day will not exceed 16,315 shares, being 25% of the average daily trading volume of the shares based on their trading volume on the TSX for the most recently completed six calendar months preceding the date of the Notice.

The Bid will begin on October 29, 2008 and will terminate on the earlier of October 28, 2009 or such date as the Corporation may complete its permitted purchases under the normal course issuer bid. The common shares will be acquired on the open market through the facilities of the TSX, at the discretion of management of the Corporation, and the purchase and payment for the common shares will be made in accordance with the requirements of the TSX and all other applicable laws. First Canada Capital Partners Inc. will conduct the normal course issuer bid on behalf of the Corporation. The price that the Corporation will pay for any common shares acquired will be the market price of the common shares at the time of acquisition. All common shares acquired by the Corporation under this Bid will be cancelled.

The Corporation has not purchased any of its common shares under a normal course issuer bid within the past 12 month period.

The Corporation is a public junior mining company exploring for nickel deposits on its Langmuir property near Timmins, Ontario, as well as gold-copper on the Barton Syndicate Dry Fork property in Utah.

Drill holes LN08-118 to LN08-123 inclusively were completed from the same drill setup located approximately 15.3 metres east of previously released drill holes LN05-3 containing 0.828% Ni over 7.00m (core length) or 5.57m true width.

Drill hole LN08-118 intersected the nickel mineralization approximately 23 metres down dip and additional sections that were dyked out in drill hole LN05-3.

Drill hole LN08-119 was approximately 36.2 metres down dip from hole LN08-118 and approximately 139 metres vertical below surface.

Drill hole LN08-120 appears to have intersected the area below the plunge of the nickel bearing mineralization.

Three exploration holes, LN08-121 to LN08-123, were located west of the North Zone nickel mineralization to evaluate ground geophysical anomalies and the basal till nickel anomaly. All holes returned anomalous nickel values.

The nickel bearing sulphide mineralization, with estimations ranging from 1% to 20% fine-grained disseminatations up to massive 100% sulphides, is contained within serpentenized komatiitic ultramaftic extrusive flows with occasional spinifex texture.

The assaying technique used is the industry standard for base metal assaying, which uses nitric and hydrochloric acids that extracts nickel only from sulphide mineralization and not from nickel silicate minerals.

The assaying of split core samples was conducted by Swastika Laboratories, and included the insertion of blanks and standards. The Qualified Person in charge of the Langmuir Project and the person who prepared the technical data in this release is Kian Jensen, B.Sc., P.Geo. (Ont), who is an arm's length party retained by the Company to carry out its exploration program on the Langmuir Project.

Drill holes LN08-115 to LN08-117 inclusively were completed on the same drill setup located approximately 102 metres east of previously released drill holes LN08-109 and LN08-110 in the southern portion of the North Zone and were designed to follow the down plunge nickel mineralization from previously release drill holes.

Drill hole LN08-115 intersected wide nickel mineralization, which may be the halo of the zone intersected in previously released drill holes LN08-107 (0.526% Ni over 34.81m and containing 1.024% Ni over 9.95m, true width) and LN08-108 (0.917% Ni over 17.75m and containing 1.058% Ni over 12.02m, true widths).

Drill hole LN08-116 approximately 60 metres down dip from hole LN08-115 did not intersect the zone or halo nickel mineralization and may be beneath the plunge of the zone intersected in holes LN08-107 and LN08-108.

Drill hole LN08-117 intersected 3 smaller zones of nickel mineralization beneath the plunge of the zone intersected in holes LN08-107 and LN08-108. These zones, ranging in true widths from 5.63m to 1.29m are approximately 453 metres to 505 metres vertically below surface.

Drill holes L108-111 to L108-113 were completed 100 feet, 200 feet and 300 feet, respectively, south of previously released drill holes L108-102 to L108-104 located on mine section 3100 North. Drill holes L108- 111 and L108-112 yielded background nickel anomalous values only. These drill holes were exploring the nickel potential south of the known nickel mineralized zones.

Drill hole L108-114 to L108-116 were completed from the same setup approximately 110 feet east (mine grid) of previously released drill holes L107-54 and L107-55. A felsic intrusive dyke terminated the upper portion of the nickel mineralization in L108-115 from 241.86m to 249.10m. Both L108-115 and L108-116 encountered a felsic intrusive dyke at the lower contact of the ultramafic komatiite flow.

Geotech Commisioned For VTEM Survery (26-June-2008)

Toronto, Ontario - Inspiration Mining Corporation (the "Corporation") is pleased to announce it has commissioned Geotech Ltd. ("Geotech") of Aurora, Ontario, Canada to conduct a helicopter-borne geophysical survey of the Langmuir Property using Geotech's Versatile Time-Domain Electromagnetic ("VTEM") geophysical system.

The VTEM is the most innovative and successful airborne electromagnetic system to be introduced in more than 30 years. It is excellent for locating discrete conductive anomalies as well as mapping lateral and vertical variations in resistivity. The VTEM system has a high sensitivity cesium magnetometer for mapping geologic structure and lithology and a cesium magnetometer base station for diurnal correction.

"The VTEM survey represents a significant step towards the development of the Langmuir project," said Randy Miller, President of the Corporation. "The survey will provide valuable information as to the mineral potential of the property and will enable the Corporation to fully develop the potential of the property."

Geotech provides full service contract airborne geophysical surveys with their proprietary, large dipole moment, VTEM system. Geotech operates nine VTEM systems in Canada of the world-wide total of 22. Their clients are mainly from the mineral and petroleum exploration industries. Its proprietary VTEM system, in the five years since its first commercial survey, has become the airborne system of choice by the exploration community. A number of exploration successes have been attributed to VTEM surveys by the exploration companies.

Drill hole LN08-107 and LN08-108 was located 118 metres east of previously released drill holes LN06-42 and LN06-43. These drill holes were designed to evaluate the nickel potential at a greater depth than previous drilling at the North Zone.

Drill hole LN08-107 is located approximately 164 metres down dip of previously released drill hole LN06-43. The nickel mineralization ranging from 282.40 m to 296.00 m (core length) is approximately 242 metres to 253 metres vertically below surface.

Drill hole LN08-108 deviated northwards onto Section 3675 North and is located approximately 243 metres down dip from previously released drill hole LN06-60. The nickel mineralization ranging from 339.80 m to 368.00 m (core length) is approximately 310 metres to 335 metres vertically below surface.

Drill holes LN08-109 and LN08-110 drilled from the same setup is located approximately 8 metres east of previously released drill holes LN06-44 and LN06-45 and approximately 19 metres and 52 metres, respectively, down dip from LN06-45.

The nickel bearing sulphide mineralization, with estimations ranging from 1% to 20% fine-grained disseminatations up to massive 100% sulphides, is contained within serpentenized komatiitic ultramaftic extrusive flows with occasional spinifex texture.

The assaying technique used is the industry standard for base metal assaying, which uses nitric and hydrochloric acids that extracts nickel only from sulphide mineralization and not from nickel silicate minerals.

Phase I -Mineral resource estimates for Langmuir No. 1 in preparation of a bulksample and mineral resource estimates for Langmuir No. 2. The mineralresource estimate will include Trend Analysis, Cut-Off Grade Estimates,Compositing, Bulk Density Review, Block Model Construction andValidation, and Open Pit Optimization for Langmuir No. 2.

PhaseII - Preliminary economic assessments examining the potential economicviability of each zone of mineralization. This assessment willcontemplate excavation of the mineralization at the Langmuir No.1deposit by means of underground mining methods, and the excavation ofthe mineralization at the Langmuir No. 2 deposit by means of open pitmining methods. The results of the mineral resource estimates andpreliminary economic assessment will be compiled in compliance withNational Instrument 43-101.

Since 1959, the presence of nickelmineralization at the Langmuir property has been known with a smallamount of production from the Langmuir No. 1 mine during the 1970-1978period and again briefly during 1990-1991 using underground miningmethods. Since 2005, Inspiration Mining has conducted an explorationand in-fill drilling program designed to identify the extension of themineralization from the past producing zones at the Langmuir No. 1deposit. At Langmuir No. 2, the Company has focused on the wide zonesof mineralization extending from the past producing mine that may beexploited by means of open pit mining methods.

Themineralization at the Langmuir property is believed to be an example ofa komatiite-hosted nickel deposit, similar to that found at the Raglanmine in northern Quebec, and in the Kambalda region of WesternAustralia. In these types of deposits, nickel mineralization can occuras small, but high grade, pods of massive sulphides that are situatedin the keels of volcanic flows of ultramafic composition, and asdisseminated and net-textured deposits that have lower grades, but areof larger sizes. Drillholes L1-102 to L1-104 were drill from the same set up. The nickelmineralization in hole L108-102 from 134.00 to 136.27 metres is locatedapproximately 13.5 metres east of known underground development. Theintersection of massive sulphides from 143.69 to 144.49 metres islocated approximately 16.5 metres down dip from the 315 foot minelevel. The high-grade nickel mineralization of 1.808% Ni over 2.52metres (true width) from 172.16 to 175.20 metres is located 35.2 metresbelow the 315 foot mine level and is 8.7 metres down dip frompreviously released drill hole L107-41, which returned 0.399% Ni over1.28 metres (true width).

Drill holes L108-103 and L108-104intersected anomalous and lower-grade nickel mineralization below thesoutherly plunging West Zone.

Drill hole L108-105 was designedto intersect the West Zone below the 315 foot mine level. Thehigh-grade nickel mineralization of 3.454% Ni over 2.69 metres (truewidth) is approximately 24 metres up dip from previously released drillhole L107-60.

Drill hole L108-106 was planned to intersect theWest Zone approximately 40 metres down dip of the 315 foot level. Thehigh-grade nickel mineralization of 1.652% Ni over 5.66 metrescontaining 3.053% Ni over 2.66 metres (true widths) was intersectedapproximately 32.5 metres down dip from the 315 foot mine level.

Drill holes LN07-89 to LN07-92, inclusively were drilled on the same section line and approximately 17.6 metres north of previously released drill holes LN05-12 and LN06-23 to LN06-26 inclusively.

Hole LN07-89 is approximately 17.5 metres down dip from previously released drill hole LN07-88, while LN07-90 is approximately 14.2 metres further down dip.

Drill holes LN07-90 to LN07-92 were collared from the same setup with LN07-91 and LN07-92 approximately 25.8 metres and 48.1 metres down dip from LN07-90 and appear to have intersected narrow nickel mineralization below the southward plunge of the mineralization.

The nickel bearing sulphide mineralization, with estimations ranging from 1% to 20% fine-grained disseminatations up to massive 100% sulphides, is contained within serpentenized komatiitic ultramaftic extrusive flows with occasional spinifex texture.

The assaying technique used is the industry standard for base metal assaying, which uses nitric and hydrochloric acids that extracts nickel only from sulphide mineralization and not from nickel silicate minerals.

The assaying of split core samples was conducted by Swastika Laboratories, and included the insertion of blanks and standards. The Qualified Person in charge of the Langmuir Project and the person who prepared the technical data in this release is Kian Jensen, B.Sc., P.Geo. (Ont).

Drill holes LN07-81 to LN07-85 were drilled on the same section line with LN07-82 being approximately 33 metres down dip from LN07-81. The mineralization in drill hole LN07-82 is bisected by a 7.8 metre (core length) felsic intrusive dyke. Drill holes LN07-83 to LN07-85 are located approximately 20 metres to 25 metres up dip from LN07-81.

A large felsic intrusive dyke terminated the nickel mineralization in drill hole LN07-86, which was 14 metres up dip from LN07-87.

Drill Hole LN07-88 was located approximately 17.6 metres north of LN06-26 and collared into the nickel mineralization.

Drill hole L107-91was drilled from the same set-up as previously released drill holes L107-89 and L107-90, which were located approximately 130 feet east of previously released drill holes L107-51 and L107-52 and is approximately 62 feet down dip from L107-90.

Drill holes L107-92 and L107-93, were drilled on the same section and 104 feet apart. Hole L107-92 was designed to intersect the zone approximately 115 feet down dip from previously released L107-37 and approximately 147 feet up dip from L107-62. L107-92 deviated southwards and intersected the zone approximately 265 feet and 150 feet down dip from previously released drill holes L107-71 and L107-73.

Drill hole L107-93 was designed to delineate the higher-grade nickel intersected in previously released drill holes L105-2 and L105-4 approximately 65 feet down dip and approximately 65 feet up dip from previously released drill hole L106-7. The drill hole intersected only the lower portion of the zone due to a 45-foot (core length) felsic dyke.

Drill holes L107-94 to L107-96, inclusively, were drilled from the same setup, which was located approximately 40 feet east of previously released drill holes L107-22 and L107-23. L107-94 was designed to fill-in the gap between previously released drill holes L106-14 that is approximately 75 feet up dip and L107-22 that is approximately 60 feet down dip.

Drill hole L107-95 intersected the zone approximately 21 feet down dip from L107-72 and approximately 50 feet up dip from L107-73. Drill hole L107-96 is approximately 113 feet down dip from previously released drill hole L107-23 and appears to be under the northerly plunge of the nickel mineralization zones.

Drill holes LN07-70 and LN07-71, which are approximately 25 metres apart, were drill approximately 25 metres north of previously released drill holes LN07-66 and LN07-67, respectively, and approximately 25 metres south of previously released drill holes LN06-62 and LN06-61, respectively, and up dip from previously released drill holes LN06-42 and LN06-43.

Drill holes LN07-65 and LN07-66 did not intersect the upper zone due to thicker overburden than elsewhere on the property. Hole LN07-65 ended in the nickel mineralized zone and will be extended in the near future.

Drill hole LN07-67 intersected the two zones of mineralization; however the lower zone was narrower than expected due to two felsic dykes from 76.68m to 80.59m and from 86.38m to 95.57m (core lengths).

Drill holes LN07-68 and LN07-69 intersected the two zones of mineralization, however the lower zone were narrower than expected due to a felsic dyke from 108.57m to 117.57m and from 116.92m to 127.57m (core length), respectively.

Drill holes LN07-70 and LN07-71 are located approximately 38 metres and 19 metres up dip from previously released drill holes LN06-42. It appears that LN07-71 intersected lower grade nickel mineralization below the plunge of the higher grade nickel mineralization.

The nickel bearing sulphide mineralization, with estimations ranging from 1% to 20% fine-grained disseminatations up to massive 100% sulphides, is contained within serpentenized komatiitic ultramaftic extrusive flows with occasional spinifex texture.

The assaying technique used is the industry standard for base metal assaying, which uses nitric and hydrochloric acids that extracts nickel only from sulphide mineralization and not from nickel silicate minerals.

The assaying of split core samples was conducted by Swastika Laboratories, and included the insertion of blanks and standards. The Qualified Person in charge of the Langmuir Project and the person who prepared the technical data in this release is Kian Jensen, B.Sc., P.Geo. (Ont).

Drill holes LN06-61 and LN06-62 were drill up-dip from previously released drill holes LN05-11 and LN06-60, approximately 48 metres and 69 metres to the west of LN06-60, respectively.

Drill hole LN06-63 was located approximately 43 metres west of previously released hole LN05-10 and approximately 9.5 metres east and 1.7 metres north of previously released drill holes LN05-19 and LN05-20. The nickel mineralization is located approximately 38 metres up-dip from LN05-10 and completes the detail fill-in drilling void between LN05-10, LN05-19 and LN05-20.

Drill hole LN07-64 is located approximately 21 metres east of previously released drill hole LN06-52 and approximately 29 metres west and 11 metres north of previously released drill hole LN05-2. The large nickel mineralization zone from 93.00 metres to 169.95 metres (core length) in LN07-64 is approximately 11 metres down-dip and 26 metres up-dip, with respect to LN06-52 and LN05-2.

Drill holes L107-86 to L107-88, which were drilled from the same set-up, are located approximately 30 metres or 100 feet east of previously released drill holes L107-74 and L107-75 and are approximately 115 feet, 200 feet and 300 feet down dip respectively from L107-75. It appears that this sequence of drill holes intersected narrow and weak nickel mineralization underneath the plunge of the main nickel mineralization on the southern end of the zones.

Drill holes L107-89 and L107-90, which were drilled from the same set-up, are located approximately 130 feet east of previously released drill holes L107-51 and L107-52 and are approximately 110 feet and 220 feet down dip respectively from L107-52. These holes were designed to define the nickel mineralization up-dip and down-dip from previously released drill holes L107-64 and L107-65, which are located approximately 50 feet north and south and approximately 320 feet east, respectively from L107-89 and L107-90.

Jasper Property Spin-Off Update (29-Jun-2008)

Inspiration Mining Corporation ("Inspiration" or the "Corporation")(TSX: ISM)(FRANKFURT: OI8) would like to provide an update on its proposed spin-off of its Jasper Property announced previously in a press release dated July 17, 2007. As previously stated, the Corporation intends to, subject to regulatory approval, to restructure its holdings whereby the Corporation intends to divest itself of its Jasper Property located on Vancouver Island, British Columbia. The proposed restructuring will allow the Corporation to fully focus on advancing the Langmuir Project in Ontario.

Pursuant to a purchase agreement dated December 1, 2007 but effective as at July 30, 2007, the Corporation intends to sell the Jasper Property to Nitinat Minerals Corporation, an arm's length third party ("Nitinat") in exchange for 13,367,904 special warrants ("Special Warrants"). Each Special Warrant entitles the holder to acquire (subject to adjustment), for no further consideration, one common share in the capital of Nitinat (the "Nitinat Common Shares") at any time on or before the date (the "Expiry Date") which is the earlier of:

(i) the sixth business day after the date that a receipt (the "Prospectus Receipt") is issued by the last of the securities regulatory authorities of Ontario, Alberta and British Columbia for a (final) prospectus of the Purchaser qualifying the distribution of the Nitinat Common Shares to be issued upon exercise of the Special Warrants; and

(ii) November 1, 2008.

Any Special Warrants not exercised prior to 5:00 p.m. (Toronto time) on the Expiry Date shall be deemed to have been exercised immediately prior thereto, without any further action on the part of the holder.

The Corporation proposes, subject to the prior approval of the Toronto Stock Exchange (the "TSX") and the receipt of the Prospectus Receipt, to distribute up to 100% of the Nitinat Common Shares on a pro rata basis to all of the Corporation's shareholders as at July 30, 2007.

Management believes that by establishing a new public vehicle to develop the Jasper Property, existing Inspiration shareholders will be rewarded as Nitinat unlocks the true value of the Jasper Property.

The Jasper Property claims are located in the Victoria Mining Division, southwestern Vancouver Island, British Columbia. The property is approximately 80 kilometres northwest of Victoria. The southern portion of the claims overlie much of the Caycuse River and its tributaries Four Mile Creek and Seven Mile Creek, extend northwards over the height of land to the tributaries of Jasper Creek, and westwards to a no staking reserve along the eastern shore of the Nitinat River. The Jasper Property consists of the Jas 3 legacy mineral claim and nine cell mineral claims that comprise ten contiguous claims which total 6,615 hectares. The property is currently 100% owned by Inspiration.

The Jasper Property does not constitute all or substantially all of the assets of the Corporation and as such shareholder approval is not required for the proposed divesture.

Inspiration Mining Corporation (the "Corporation") (TSX: ISM)(FRANKFURT: OI8)announces that further to its press release dated January 3, 2008, the Annual and Special Meeting of Shareholders scheduled for Monday, January 14, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. (Toronto time) will not be proceeding as the Corporation has learned that certain shareholders resident in the United States of America and Europe have not received notice of the meeting as the service provider responsible for mailing the materials to the shareholders has not done so.

The meeting will be held at a later date to be determined by the board of directors. Shareholders will be provided with an updated notice of meeting and information circular at such time.
